The Debt Investments team provides credit to a range of projects and corporates as an alternative to institutional and investment banks. As an Investment Analyst (Debt Investments) you will provide support to Associates and Directors with respect to the analysis of potential investments.  This will involve analysing and in some cases developing financial models which provide outputs in relation to return on capital, lending ratios and associated risks.  Furthermore, the Investment Analyst will have involvement in the monitoring of existing portfolio investments; providing periodic reporting in relation to each investment’s performance.

The successful applicant will possess the relevant tertiary degree in Commerce, Accounting or Economics and likely be working towards (or have completed) the CFA or CA program. What you do

As a Senior within the Transaction Services team you will be involved in a range of financial due diligence services to mid-cap clients.  Day to day tasks include detailed data collection, analysis and modelling in order to identify key value drivers and potential “deal breakers”, the development of written financial due diligence reports, buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence reports, the contribution to investigative accounting work on public offerings and maintaining strong relationships with a raft of 3rd party advisors such as lawyers, bankers and corporate advisors.

What you need
